Welcome to our website
Thanks for your interest in the Greater Arizona
Country and Western Swing Music Association and Hall of Fame. Our home base is in Prescott Valley, Arizona where we hold monthly meetings and jam sessions on the second Sunday of each month from noon to 4 p.m. at the C.A.S.A. Senior Center, 9360 E. Manzanita Circle in Prescott Valley. (Google this address to get directions.)
We are a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose purpose is to promote the enjoyment and expansion of Country and Western Swing music throughout the State of Arizona (and the world). We do this through our monthly meetings, through outside events such as our Prescott Opry, and through advertising, competitive events, and scholarships to young people with an interest in Country Swing music.
For more information, come to one of our monthly gatherings, or call Lee at 928-710-7094.
2nd Sundays @ C.A.S.A.
We are an organization of pickers and grinners-musicians, dancers, and those who just enjoy good old country and western swing music. The second Sunday each month we meet at the Prescott Valley C.A.S.A Center, noon to 4pm. The meetings feature a live house band and open mic. You never know who might show up. Our members are from all over the country and have played in bands from Nashville to Phoenix, Prescott, San Diego and beyond. Our style of good old country music is great for dancing.
We are open to the public, but ask non-members for a $3 donation at the door. We also have a pot luck dinner about 2pm. Bring a dish and eat free or pay $5 for a meal. We have some good cooks bringing dishes.
We also have our own Hall of Fame and music scholarship program.
